My Story

Hi there! My name is Alissa and I’m a UX designer with a background in graphic design. I have experience working in many industries, where I specialized in developing marketing pieces via print, email, social media and web. In my role, I created visual concepts to communicate information and draw people in. After some time in this field, I wanted to expand my skill set and when doing research, I found user experience design to be very intriguing as it involves both visual design as well as research to create a wonderful user experience. Incorporating both my graphic design skills and my natural instinct to research everything, I want to build satisfying product experiences and solutions. I’m seeking to continue this work by helping companies build a more user centric experience and promote user engagement. I’m currently available for full time remote work and am looking for a long term position where I can grow and continue learning within the company. In addition to my work and passions in UX design, I’m also a devoted mother to my beautiful daughter and my dog Bella.
